Inependence day was celebrated in the school on 15, August 2018. Sri Manjunatha B V welcomed the guests & the gathering. Presiding Guest Dr. Subramnian R, Chief Scientist, CSIR-CFTRI,& Advisor (M & A), hoisted the tricolor, recieved the guard of honour. Chief Guest Smt Lakshmi Chari, Director, ZIET & Deputy Commisioner, KVS, Mysuru & Presiding Guest Dr. Subramnian R, Chief Scientist, CSIR-CFTRI,& Advisor (M & A),addresed the gathering. The The celebration began with an impressive marchpast followed by cultural events. Patriotic songs & Speeches by students filled the spectators with patriotic fervor and added color to the programme.

Toppers of SSLC April 2018 exam were falicitated during the occasion. Address by the Chief Guset,Smt Lakshmi Char, iDirector, ZIET & Deputy Commisioner, KVS, Mysuru followed by Presiding Guest Dr. Subramnian R, Chief Scientist, CSIR-CFTRI,& Advisor (M & A) & Hon. President, CFTRI Education Society, Mysuru were very motivating & spiritual.

At the end distributed sweets to the students and parents.

Snacks was served to guests and others. Smt. Blessy johnson was the chairperson.
